The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) will honor Steve Zbranek, Graduate Master Builder, at the 2010 International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas as its “National Master Builder of the Year”. His contributions as a designee have elevated the image of homebuilders and the Master Builder designation in Central Texas. Steve was one of several Master Builder nominees considered for this award. The education and designation programs at NAHB strive to improve professionalism and innovation in the home building and remodeling industries. The designation of Graduate Master Builder is the highest ranking designation attainable from the NAHB. Zbranek is widely recognized as a professional who fully embraces these ideals and stands out as a leading professional in his field, incorporating innovative practices and techniques which ultimately benefit his customers and shines a positive light on the housing industry.
The NAHB University of Housing offers 13 professional designation programs on topics ranging from green building and remodeling to sales and affordable housing to help those in the housing industry advance their professionalism and business knowledge. Steve was selected by the Master Builder Board of Governors based on his successful promotion of the Master Builder designation to consumers and the public. His innovative techniques and customer service practices set him apart from other national competitors for this award. Steve is a senior instructor for the University of Housing, the education arm of NAHB. He is recognized for his commitment to training graduate builder and master builder candidates throughout the country.
Steve Zbranek, President of Zbranek Custom Homes, has been building new homes in Central Texas since 1979 and received the coveted Master Builder designation in 1993. He is a three time Builder of the Year, Past President of the Greater San Antonio Builders Association, and currently serves as President of the Greater Austin Home Builders Association.
