Meet Steve Zbranek

Steve Zbranek is a 2-Time National Master Builder of the Year and an inductee into the Austin Builder Hall of Fame. As a licensed Texas real estate broker, industry leader, and educator, Steve has been instrumental in shaping the home-building industry. He has:

  • Led as President of Builder’s Associations in San Antonio, Greater Austin, and founded the Lakeway and Bee Caves Homebuilder’s Chapter.
  • Published more than 100 times and judged over 25 national custom home building competitions.
  • Earned multiple titles, including Texas Custom Home Builder of the Year, Austin Custom Home Builder of the Year (6 times), and San Antonio Builder of the Year.

Community engagement is at the heart of Steve’s work. He has built three benefit homes, with profits going to charities like SAFE House, the Lake Travis Youth Association, and the Lake Travis Education Foundation. Steve has served as Chairman of Leadership San Antonio, Founding Chairman of Leadership Lake Travis, and has been awarded Citizen of the Year by the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce.

But Steve’s passion doesn’t stop at home building—his time in the U.S. Air Force shaped his life. Selected for Air Force intelligence, he was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal. Today, he continues his love for flight as a commercial pilot and multi-engine flight instructor.
